As far as wedding attire, hairstyles, grooming and make-up go, weddings are still mainly about the bride, but it is the groom's big day too.

 

Often a groom's work wear will influence his wedding suit. A man who wears a business suit each day may feel he must wear a morning dress to his wedding in order to be more formal than his daily life. The groom will also need to select a style of shirt and preferred collar, and accessories such as cuff links, waistcoat, tie/cravat and pocket square to complete the look.

 

The groom should visit a formal wear shop, clothing shop, or costume hire shop depending on his selection of attire, with either his best man or his bride and try on the various styles. The wedding venue and the brides dress should highly influence the groom's choice.
