This is the wedding of Analida and Rodrigo that was sent in from Maik Dobiey Photography.
Analida booked me for their wedding in Lima over Skype while I was in Germany and she was in Peru. The first time I met her personally was for their civil valentine’s day wedding at the beach.
For their big religious wedding day the bride was getting ready together with her two best friends and her mom in her parents apartment with a beautiful view over the San Isidro Golf course.
From there we went straight to the beautiful church they had picked Virgen del Pilar. After the ceremony we drove to the same location where we had taken some engagement photos before. Rodrigo’s sister lives in a house with a beautiful view over Lima making the perfect backdrop for some of the portraits.
The reception was set up in the Polo Club of Lima. A walkway to the entrance with dozens of veils, a bar with a giant wooden mosaic backdrop and mirrors, tables with flowers and candles, a sophisticated center table with sweets and pralines and countles candles. Even outside of the reception the swimming pool had countless floating candles.
