The best thing about my job is that I get to travel to the most beautiful countries in the world and being invited to visit some of the best hotels in Dubai was a wonderful experience.

Nothing feels more luxurious than 5-star treatments and there is no other popular City than Dubai. A city renowned for its sheer lavish extravagance. I wanted to see what Dubai had to offer. From the palatial hotels with their gourmet restaurants and opulent spas to the enormous shopping centres, full of designer brands. This City offers honeymooners big opportunities for indulgence.

Dubai is a leading City for honeymooners, a City of over 2 million people; it is the second largest of the seven emirates which make up the United Arab Emirates.

Dubai offers couples a fascinating kaleidoscope of contrasts, a distinctive blend of a modern city and a timeless desert. Dubai combines the comfort and convenience of the Western World with a unique charm and hospitality of Arabia. If you are looking for an action packed honeymoon Dubai offers superb facilities for sports and recreation from golf to water sports to desert safaris and cruises. Or simply the chance to relax and enjoy the year round of sunshine on the clean uncrowded beaches.

We stayed at the Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel for one night before our early flight to Dubai the next morning. If you are looking to park your car before your trip this hotel is a great option. This is closest hotel to Heathrow Airport only a 5-minute shuttle bus to our terminal, perfect, no early morning stars, no traffic jams or last minute panics. We experienced the park here fly there package which was great for just 8 days £148.00

Upon check-in when we heard our room was facing the runway to the world’s busiest airport, at first I was a little apprehensive but as soon as you are in the room you would never know you were next to the runway due to the triple glazing; I had a great night’s sleep.

Our room was a moderate size but very clean and comfortable and the amenities were fully functional. We had access to the executive lounge which gave us access to all drinks, canapés and usual lounge benefits. We found all the staff we encountered to be very friendly and attentive. The dinner buffet in the DUO Restaurant served fresh seasonal dishes in a contemporary setting; it has the best Baileys cheesecake!

After checking in we headed to the No 1 Traveller lounge, and I am so glad we did as it is such a great way to start your honeymoon. The lounge is divided into lots of different areas, cinema, TV room, library, a games room, lots of comfy seating areas with free wi fi and magazines.

There was a lovely variety on the breakfast buffet with tasty food and the usual soft drinks in fridges to help yourself. After a quick sip of champagne, I was quickly whisked off for my massage at the spa.

They offer facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing with not long till the flight I had the 15-minute massage which was lovely to de-stress before the flight. We can’t wait for our next trip to go back and spend a bit more time in the lounge.

We were invited to stop by to visit the Emirates Lounge. The lounge had very friendly and professional reception staff and very spacious and luxurious seating area, waiting for our flight was remarkably soothing. With a selection of food and beverages, you will be spoilt for choice. As our flight was in the morning they had a selection of fresh, healthy, wholesome breakfast options produced with the finest seasonal ingredients. You can also freshen up with a shower. Or simply sit back and relax like we did!

Here our honeymoon hotspots you must visit:

Armani Hotel Dubai, in the iconic Burj Khalifa the tallest building in the world, we delved into a world of superior luxury with impeccable service.

When we arrived at the airport at Dubai we were warmly greeted by our driver, as we walked to the car the style began. As he passed me a drink and a cold perfumed towel so I could freshen he up said “welcome to Dubai”.

Upon arriving at the Armani Hotel we certainly had a stylish start, we were welcomed by a row of staff outside the hotel who were waiting for our arrival. As soon as I walked into the hotel it was like paradise. The Concierge were ready to take our bags and took the luggage out the car, and we walked to the hotel with our lifestyle manager.

Our lifestyle manager quickly walked us to our magnificent room to check us in. As soon as I walked in I was wowed! Our signature suite had amazing views of the skyline of Dubai and the dancing musical fountain, and the room itself was designed to a very high standard.

The whole room is controlled by one remote control and is very easy to use. I could quite happily not have even left the room although we had a table reserved for our dinner that evening. After a quick shower in the enormous bathroom with gorgeous Armani bath products were ready for dinner.

If it’s fine Italian cuisine you are after, Armani/Ristorante should be your first place to visit. As we were welcomed and walked to our table and handed the most beautiful gold menus with such pretty pearlised paper, the head chef came to our table to offer some of the wonderful suggestions from him most impressive menu. We could not fault anything in this impeccable restaurant and our hostess was the most genuine kind woman who brought us our bespoke cocktails while waiting for our dinner.

  • Here is what we had:
  • Crab meat salad with scampi, tomato gazpacho and sweet peas
  • Chitarra Spaghetti with Lobster and creamy Barracuda Sauce, this was sprinkled with caviar and real gold.
  • Casoncelli Ravioli Filled With Foie Gras, Black Truffle and Parmigiano Fondue
  • The Sphere, Vanilla Cream, Violet Crème brûlée, Cassis Sorbet, I had never seen a desert like it, it looked just like a huge pearl with real gold sprinkled on it.

After a most comfortable night sleep, as soon as I woke up I could not wait to grab the remote control to open the curtain to see the magnificent panoramic view of Dubai. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety to eat.

Armani Dubai Signature Suite

Overall the one night stay at the hotel was amazing, and can certainly say this is a great way to start a honeymoon. I loved every aspect of this hotel. Having stayed in many 5 star hotels all over the world this has to be one of my favourites.

A perfect idea for a couple on honeymoon is to try the exclusive package they offer after arriving in a chauffeur-driven Maserati: you will be escorted to expensive Armani Signature suite to toast you’re newlyweds with a glass of Dom Pérignon. Next, take in the sights of the city with a private helicopter tour for you both before touching down to enjoy a bespoke breakfast at your leisure before rounding up your stay with a signature couples treatment at Armani/SPA prices start at AED 60,000
