Fresh from her recent triumph, winning Best Dress Designer 2013 in the Wedding Ideas awards, Sassi was applauded for making an exceptional contribution to the industry.
She was selected for the award by more than 20 of her peers.
Sassi has boutiques in Fulham Road in Chelsea and Taunton in Somerset. Entirely self-taught, she is known for the integral corsetry in her gowns, all made in the UK, which enhance the bride’s silhouette, and for having made the wedding gown for Autumn Kelly when she married the Queen’s grandson Peter Phillips.
