Scarlet Events really took in the stunning architecture of the Grade 1 listed venue when planning this beautiful vintage styled wedding at the breath-taking Royal Exchange in the heart of London.
Guests enjoy drinks and canapés on the mezzanine before heading down to the courtyard for dinner and dancing. The venue holds 300 seated and 800 standing, perfect for large events. The glass roof allows for two options, one an afternoon event being light and airy and the second an evening dinner party once the sun goes down.
The venue entails a courtyard, with a sophisticated glass roof filling the entire area with light. The ground floor courtyard is surrounded with beautiful ornate stone pillars and the mezzanine with gorgeous glass.
The venue offer in-house catering or you are welcome to bring outside caterers if you have one in mind. The stone and marble in the courtyard offer themselves to any colour scheme and so anything you have designed will look absolutely wonderful. As the space is so vast, there is no need to hold yourselves back when it comes to the flowers and the table decorations, because the more the merrier when it comes to decorating the Royal Exchange.
A wedding day is not just about photographs, but it is nice to have something to look back on after the big day and the natural light that fills the courtyard and the marble which make up the surroundings inside make the venue an ideal photo opportunity. Whatever the weather, the pictures will look wonderful.
The evening brought extravagant lighting and spectacular dance performances for the finale of this beautiful black tie event.
The Royal Exchange is definitely one of the most beautiful venues in London.
