The Sri Lanka Gems and Jewellery Association is creating a Ceylon Sapphire hairpin that is hoped will be Kate Middleton’s ‘something blue’ for the big day
To celebrate the Royal Wedding the Sri Lanka Gems and Jewellery Association (SLGJA) is especially creating an extremely valuable Ceylon Sapphire hairpin surrounded by diamonds, to perfectly compliment the design of Kate Middleton’s Ceylon Sapphire engagement ring.
The elegant and sophisticated handcrafted cornflower blue coloured hair clip has been carefully handcrafted and is18k white gold with 2ct Ceylon Sapphire surrounded by 14 round diamonds. The design will be in keeping with the taste of Kate Middleton and will be sent to Kate Middleton for her to wear on her wedding day if she so chooses. The Ceylon Sapphire stone symbolises leadership and morality, qualities that the future Princess of Wales exudes, and will continue to need in her Royal role.
