Spring into a new style season

Spring is such a gorgeous time of year. Transitioning from dark, cold winter with the sight of summer just out of view, spring promises new beginnings and new life – a perfect season for a wedding.

So what about spring style for weddings? We’ve put together some of our favourite looks for a perfect springtime celebration.

Colour Palette

There are two options for a perfect palette. You can either go for a gorgeous pale blossom, mirroring the pretty petals falling from the trees, or go big with colour!

Pastels are always a pretty choice for a wedding. Blush pink, cherry blossom and delicate daisy white are so complimentary and look at home next to the falling blossom petals. Because of the pale colour, you can fill your venue with florals and accessorise to your heart’s content!

The first brights in nature are out in vibrant yellows, oranges, violets and pinks, so you can include any or all of those in your wedding palette. We haven’t seen much in the way of colour throughout the winter, so wake up your senses with some bold tones.

Dress

Although the promise of summer is on its way, it’s still fairly chilly out, so opting for thicker straps or a cute cover-up isn’t a bad idea. A simple sheath dress is a lovely choice, with some sparkling detailing and lace accents to cover a bit of skin. We don’t want you freezing on your big day!

Alternatively, sleeves are still an option during the spring – go for something sheer and add some floral lace.

Flowers

In keeping with the colour palette, choosing either pale blossom tones or bright colours will make a difference to you floral choices.

If you go for blossom, pretty pinks make a gorgeous bouquet and a stunning floral crown. We also love an intricate hair adornment which adds beautiful detail to a look.

Go bright and make the most of the seasonal flowers. Daffodils make such a gorgeous statement with a vibrant burst of yellow, we can’t think of a better bright springtime flower to include in your bouquet.

Decor

Choosing a theme for your decor in spring is so much fun. Fresh, new influences with lots of white are so appropriate for this season. Leave the retro and vintage for later in the year, this is your chance to sparkle with newness!
