Tony Winyard Wedding Entertainment is having a brand make-over by expert tailor Alexandra Wood. How important is it for your wedding suppliers to look the part on a couple’s wedding day?
There is, Unfortunately, a negative stigma attached to the appearance of MC’s and DJ’s. Many couples do not want the formality of a red-coated toastmaster, additionally, the perception tends to be that DJ’s often turn up scruffy to weddings as they are hidden behind the DJ booth.
In reality, this is not the case, more and more couples are taking their wedding entertainment seriously. The MC & DJ is an integral part of the wedding day, hence why their appearance is paramount!
These two videos feature two of the top suppliers in the wedding industry, Alexandra Wood of Alexandra Wood Ltd a top tailor and Tony Winyard of Tony Winyard Entertainment who is a wedding master of ceremonies and DJ.
Alexandra is getting married and booked Anthony to be her master of ceremonies, host and DJ. In their first ever meeting she asked Tony if he wore the traditional, red toastmaster outfit as she didn’t like the look of the traditional ‘toastmaster’ red and wanted Tony to wear something a bit more modern.
Tony doesn’t opt for the traditional look and his host/DJ ‘uniform’ tends to be a black tie suit. Alexandra, being a tailor suggested that Tony wear one of her custom tailored suits specially for the occasion.
The videos feature Alexandra Wood talking through her wedding plans at the beautiful St Michael’s Manor in St Albans, her background as a Savile Row tailor, then talking with Anthony’s about his role as a wedding entertainment host. They then discuss how important it is for a wedding supplier to dress accordingly.
This leads into a consultation on film between Alexandra and Anthony about the designing for Anthony’s bespoke, tailored suit. The videos were kindly filmed by Sean at Fire Flash Production “who brought the filming together, at the venue of the reception At St Michaels Manor in St Albans.
