The Horn’s approach is that “nothing is too much trouble”, and they will tailor every aspect of the day to your hopes and dreams.
All the small details are taken care of, leaving you free to relax and enjoy your Big Day. Their civil wedding licence allows you to exchange your vows in four rooms, each with its unique character. The hotel can cater to up to 90 guests in the Main House or 250 in a marquee in beautiful 5-acre gardens. There is a choice of two luxurious bridal suites and fourteen further luxury en-suite bedrooms, accommodating 32. Most have balconies with gorgeous views.
The Horn of Plenty has won an impressive regional and national awards list in recent years. It won a Silver “Small Hotel of the Year” award in Visit England’s prestigious National Awards for Excellence earlier this year. Last year, it won “Small Hotel of the Year” in the Devon Tourism Awards, and the prior year “Devon Wedding Venue of the Year” in the West Country Wedding Awards.
The Horn of Plenty is also one of the very few hotels in the South West to have been awarded 3 AA rosettes for its fine dining restaurant. They host several Chef’s weddings annually and are widely regarded as the region’s best wedding venue for foodies.
