A honeymoon at her deeply romantic, utterly luxurious, Marrakech riad: Dar Jaguar. Not quite 1001 nights, but you get the picture…
Dar Jaguar is an ancient riad that Lucia has lovingly restored as a breathtakingly beautiful private guesthouse highlighting a stunningly stylish Honeymoon suite, called The State of Grace. It is situated in the heart of the old medina in Marrakech, neighbouring the exotic Spice Market and less than five minutes walk from the world-renowned Jemaa el Fna Square.
Parties for parties…
It’s not only brides and grooms who can escape to Dar Jaguar’s Marrakech delights, the riad is also available for Hen weekends, intimate weddings, vow-renewal ceremonies and anniversaries.
Dar Jaguar also provides a special five-course honeymoon/ anniversary dinner for true gourmets, with candlelit banquets, overlooking the sparkling lights and red sky of Marrakech.
Designed for indulgence…
Dar Jaguar brings together an exquisite blend of traditional Moorish and Oriental architecture with an elegant European romanticism. It is built around a central courtyard in which palm trees are intertwined with bougainvillea draping onto an antique marble fountain.
It offers four spacious en suites and one Royal Suite, as well as three different salons and a large sun-drenched roof terrace with a magnificent view over the city. There is also a plunge pool set under the ancient carved woodwork and huge Syrian chandelier – one of the many interior treats designed by Lucia.
Ensuring honeymoon delights…
The Riad has a full complement of English-trained and English-speaking management. Indulgencies available to guests include a talented chef, chauffeurs, masseurs, beauty technicians, tour guides and personal shoppers.

most important day of your Life
I remember when I was in school, they would ask, ‘What are you going to be when you grow up?’ and then you’d have to draw a picture of it. I drew a picture of myself as a bride.
