A dazzling day
Under an azure sky, Angie and Carlos celebrated their day surrounded by their loved ones. Their gorgeous wedding was held at Old Tappan Manor in New Jersey. With tall windows overlooking a breathtaking waterfall, glistening chandeliers and gorgeous soft white roses, the reception was straight out of a fairytale!
The bride
Angie’s stunning, strapless mermaid gown was covered in beautiful appliqued flowers, accented with sparkling crystals. Her long train and even longer veil ensured her walk down the aisle was a spectacular one! Badgley Mischka shoes and glittering accessories completed the look. Angie wore her hair in tousled curls, perfectly framing her face, for which she chose dark, accentuating eye make up and a natural lip colour. An ideal choice when you know there will be plenty of photos taken!
The groom
Having proudly displayed his wedding morning t-shirt, Carlos chose a more appropriate sophisticated black tuxedo for the occasion, with satin lapels and matching black bow tie and pocket square.
The girls
Dressed in rich burgundy, the bridemaids simply shone. With cross over front straps and ruched bodices, these beautiful dresses were the perfect accompaniment to the bride’s gorgeous gown.
The guys
Perfectly matching the girls, the groomsmen were dressed in burgundy jackets with contrasting black lapels and black tuxedo trousers. Shiny black shoes and jazzy socks rounded off the look. Framing the happy couple, the girls and guys added a gorgeous pop of colour to the proceedings.
The florals
With the richness of the dresses and suits, a simple white and dusty pink palette was chosen for the florals. The bride’s bouquet was made up of roses, with the addition of hydrangeas to the bridesmaids’. Angie’s featured pink and white with touches of sparkle, and the bridesmaids’ matched perfectly.
The floral displays at the reception contained splashes of pink, orange, yellow and peach – a gorgeous addition to the simple white hydrangea displays.
The ceremony
The traditional ceremony took place at a local church. The sun shone through the pretty stained glass windows as the happy couple took their vows in front of their friends and family. They paused outside for photos before heading off to their reception to celebrate.
The cake
Simple, elegant and chic, the four tiered wedding cake was intricately piped, adding lovely detail, and was topped with fresh roses. A beautiful centrepiece.
The celebration
With the couple’s first dance over, the party went off with a bang. Samba, sparklers and plenty of dancing ensured the night was truly one to be remembered.
