The National Wedding Show Press Event took place on the 15th January 2015 in the spectacular setting of the Ballroom and Long Gallery of The Lansdowne Club in Mayfair.
Everything from exquisite cakes, dazzling accessories and show stopping wedding dresses were on show, giving press a preview of what to expect at The National Wedding Show this season.
The Long Gallery housed an array of beautiful designer dresses by Qiana Bridal, Silk+Satin, Katya Katya Shehurina, showcasing a stunning selection of their latest collections. Pretty bridesmaid dresses and charming page boy outfits were presented by Little Bevan.
Finishing touches were provided by Alba Rose, who showcased a sparkling collection of engagement and wedding rings and Crystal Heirlooms who showed off a selection of new vintage inspired handcrafted tiaras and accessories. Rachel Simpson’s art deco inspired shoes were beautifully presented, with a mix of stunning platforms, elegant peep-toes and cute ballet flats to suit all styles, while Daphne Rosa displayed their fabulous fabric bouquets and buttonholes.
The National Wedding Show’s official make up sponsor bareMinerals provided professional makeunders for the press throughout the evening, demonstrating their impressive range of award winning mineral make up including their new bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum and Foundation.
Cake exhibitors including Ann’s Designer Cakes, Jessica Lauren Cakes, Faith Jones and Genuine Cakes provided sweet treats for the press as they showcased their stunning on-trend selections of elaborate wedding cakes.
Confetti presented their beautiful collection of wedding décor, gifts and favours alongside Treasure on the Wall who displayed their unique personalised picture art.
Florists and stationers together created mesmerizing table displays, with themes including Sweet Treats, Boho Charm and Winter Wonderland.
Flowers by Roxanne and Kathryn Deeley Wedding Stationery worked together using pretty pastel colours to create a Sweet Treats table. Baby pink roses and pale blue hydrangeas complemented the candy striped stationery, providing the perfect theme for a summer wedding.
Amie Bone Flowers created a spectacular centrepiece featuring a towering bare tree draped with crystal garlands, hanging tea lights and surrounded by white roses and pillar candles. Whimsical snowfall stationery from Appleberry Press completed the magical Winter Wonderland themed table.
Encapsulating the Boho Charm vintage theme, The Wedding Lounge used an elaborate ivy leaf tree candle holder along with a birdcage, tea lights, a scattering of rose petals and flowers in soft hues to complement the botanical inspired stationery provided by Appleberry Press.
Mouth-watering canapés provided by The Lansdowne Club complemented refreshing and delicious cocktails mixed up by Barz8, offering press a selection of wedding themed cocktails. The event was captured by the incredible Catherine Pound Photography.
Brides can see these exhibitors together with over 250 wedding suppliers at The National Wedding Show this spring. From designer dresses and dazzling venue décor to fabulous floristry and honeymoon hideaways, The National Wedding Show is the ultimate destination for brides, grooms and their wedding party to try, buy, book and hire everything they need for their big day.
