An evening of colour and calm with Ananya Cards at House of Elemis
There’s something about stationery. It was always the only good thing about going back to school every September; brand new, untouched pads of crisp paper, waiting to be decorated with notes and doodles, or clean, new diaries with the year grandly embossed on the front. Even now the smell of paper gives me a sense of fresh starts and possibilities… When you add that feeling to the luscious pampering products of Elemis, you have one pretty fab evening. 5 Star Wedding Directory was invited to join Vaishali Shah, Creative Director of Ananya Cards at the House of Elemis in Mayfair last week, where we were introduced to Shah’s beautiful stationery trend predictions for 2016 and treated to indulgent pampering by Elemis. Taking inspiration from the growing numbers of adults who are achieving calm through colouring in, the event also offered us the opportunity to try out the relaxing pastime for ourselves, and go home with some shading pencils so we can perfect our new found craft!
