The Lansdowne Club, one of London’s most exclusive private members’ clubs, will be opening its doors to prospective wedding couples on Saturday, 2nd March 2024, from 11 am – 3 pm, for the Club’s exclusive Wedding Showcase, shining a spotlight on this magnificent 18th century Mayfair venue. Flawless five-star service, impeccable attention to detail, and genuine hospitality are the hallmarks of any wedding at The Lansdowne Club.
Several luxury wedding vendors will be featured as part of the Showcase to advise attendees about everything they will need to create their dream wedding – including bespoke couture bridal gowns by Shimmering Ivory; jewels by family-owned jewellers House of Preston, who specialise in bespoke engagement rings and diamond jewellery; award-winning Mayfair hair stylist, Hiro Miyoshi; and experts from British skincare brand ELEMIS will be on-hand to help you build a customised skincare routine to ensure flawless skin on your big day; as well as options for menswear, flowers, photography, videography, stationery and much more.
Attendees will be able to meet the Club’s dedicated Wedding Team, who take great pride in exceeding expectations and creating bespoke wedding celebrations. In addition, The Lansdowne Club’s Executive Head Chef, Henry Brosi, will be showcasing mouthwatering gourmet creations.
As part of the Wedding Showcase, attendees will be able to see an array of beautifully curated spaces for both civil ceremonies and wedding breakfasts. The magnificent 18th century Grade II* listed Ballroom exudes timeless elegance and grandeur, with its ornate gilded vaulted ceiling and minstrel galleries; whilst the Club’s boutique event spaces provide the perfect setting for more intimate wedding celebrations. The stunning historic décor of the Adam Room, with its unreserved air of splendour, exquisite detailing and beautiful ornate ceiling, magnificently adorned with frescoes and a shimmering chandelier, makes an enchanting backdrop for a wedding ceremony. Attendees can also see The Lansdowne Club’s Winter Garden and Courtyard.
