Located in the heart of Campania, Aquapetra hotel and Spa
Limoncello Inspired Wedding: Located in the heart of Campania, less than a hour from Naples, Aquapetra hotel and Spa is a hidden Italian gem.. it is a four star hotel with a Michelin star restaurant, located in its very own charming little Italian “village” with cobbled streets and rustic charm.
The resort and spa offers 42 air conditioned rooms, a friendly and attentive team to look after your every whim, a relaxing spa, an indoor and outdoor pool and the opportunity to hire exclusively for your idyllic Italian wedding.
The owners of the hotel have a holiday home on Capri, so the journey of Aquapetra’s very own delicious limoncello starts there…….and was the perfect inspiration for one of the inspirational shoots arranged by Jane Riddell from luxury wedding planning company, Planned for Perfection.
The Amalfi Coast and the Island of Capri has an abundance of lemon trees and there is nothing more quintessentially Italian than Limoncello (and a Fiat 500!) so with lemon inspiration and the use of the hotels cute Italian car, the shoot was planned for June.
Jane enlisted the assistance of some of the UK’s best wedding suppliers to create the most beautiful lemon inspired wedding:
Dewinton paper company designed a brand new stationery suite for the limoncello themed wedding shoot, which featured an illustrated lemon to hint at the citrus theme.
A ceremony arch, covered in greenery from the olive groves located in the grounds of the venue was filled with pops of bright zesty lemons and set up poolside, to make the most of the stunning backdrop and placed pool side for the perfect destination wedding ceremony.
The winter garden was also dressed with cascading olive branches dotted with lemons. The bespoke tables styled with linen from Just4 Linen and tableware from WhiteHouse Event Crockery.
Aquapetra commissioned gorgeous plates from the award winning ceramicist Elvio Sagnella, owner of the bottega giustiniani in San Lorenzello, just a few kilometres from aquapetra.
This vibrant shoot epitomises Italy and with the wedding gowns from Italian designer Roberta Bacarelli and menswear designer Sartoria Porfidia – there was a nod to the chic and sophisticated Italian culture.
