Linda and Avi’s Real Wedding In Lake Maggiore – We have such a gorgeous wedding to share with you today sent in my wedding planners White Emotion in Italy. Henna party is part of the Moroccan Jewish tradition and take places a few days before a special occasion such as a wedding. During pre-wedding Henna parties, the oldest member of the family smudges henna in the palm of the bride and groom to symbolically bestow the new couple with good health, fertility, wisdom, and security. The henna is believed in Moroccan tradition to protect the couple from demons.
In Moroccan folklore, the bride is exempt of her household duties until the henna completely fades. After the bride and groom are blessed with the henna, the guests also spread henna on their palms to bring good luck.
For this celebration, the couple rented a wonderful villa on the lake Maggiore, with all guests arriving by boat and celebrating and dancing all night long! The Bride and groom to be made their entrance before with a private water taxi and entered the marquis riding a horse, as a typical Moroccan tradition.
The décor and rentals were all in red and gold, with North African catering and Moroccans tyle band coming from paris.
