Award-winning British designer Alan Hannah unveiled his 2016 collection ‘Watercolours’ today at White Gallery London 2015. Inspired by the delicacy and beauty of floral print and watercolour artwork, designer Marguerite Hannah has used lots of silk chiffon and soft satins to emulate ‘water’ with its movement, its waves on the ocean and its shimmering colours which are transported and subtly changed by the reflections of the light.

Designing the Alan Hannah collection for 21 years, Marguerite Hannah has established a reputation for her signature fine-cut which sculpts and caresses the silhouette.

Her 2013 collection to be launched at White Gallery London 2012 won’t disappoint as her talents have been stretched to full capacity, being gladly challenged by the ever-changing style of art and fashion and the gathering pace of change in bridal styling.

Marguerite has created a forward thinking collection which follows current trends but which also shows an understanding that a wedding dress should always stand the test of time and abide by the timeless rules of good design and purity of form.

Marguerite believes wholly in being part of every step from design to cut and then to the final touches of each new style until the final unveiling at the White Gallery fashion show. Her love of fabric and exquisite detail has taken her around the world to places like Italy, France and India wherever the most inspiring fabrics and textures can be found. All these elements are part of the new Alan Hannah collection which is sure to be loved – and is set to reveal a few surprises as well.

The new collection will be launched on Sunday 20th May on the White Gallery Catwalk at 1.30pm – not to be missed!
