After meeting in Jackson Hole, this couple says “I do” in the town where they first fell in love.

Butterflies . . . Wild Flowers . . . Love Birds

The Scene: Inspired by the beauty of the region, the couple took inspiration from the area’s vegetation and incorporated white, green and brown florals in the wedding’s decor. The bride’s bouquet was made from anemones, chamomile and baby’s breath and the centrepieces featured long winding branches. The wedding’s theme revolved around love birds which were featured on the wedding cake, seating cards and guest book.

Magical Moment: The couple released butterflies at the end of their ceremony. This Native American tradition is a symbol of good luck and allows everyone to make a wish for the couple’s future. The butterfly release also embraced the couple’s nature-inspired theme.

The Bride & Groom: Before the ceremony, the couple practised the butterfly release and made a wish for themselves.

The Bride Wore: Ali wore a Vera Wang wedding gown made from organza and accented with a sash at the waist. “I wanted an elegant dress with simple lines.”

A Personal Touch: The bride handcrafted a number of the wedding details with the help of her mom and grandmother, including the jam favours and ceramic birds.

The couple decided to create their own wedding vows, but instead of writing them out ahead of time, they spoke straight from the heart. “We were amazed that the words just came to both of us,” says the bride.

With their own unforgettable vacation memories as motivation, Ali and Kevin made sure their guests enjoyed the wedding—as well as the Resort.

Closing: It was very important to Ali and Kevin to keep the wedding’s details as natural as possible and reflect the beauty of the area. “We wanted our guests to experience the magic of the Tetons and fall in love with it as we did many years ago,” says the bride.

After the wedding, the newlyweds embarked on a three-part honeymoon, including a stop at Four Seasons Resort Nevis.
