We have just been sent this wonderful photo shoot from Gwenda at The Vintage Floral Company we hope you enjoy it.

“It was my daughter, Nadia, who inspired me to get this shoot together. She was my bridesmaid in June of this year and it had me thinking that they rarely get their turn in the spotlight. The theme emerged effortlessly from this point on. Everyone I asked to take part in the shoot saw the novelty in the approach and gave incredibly generously of their time, products and services.

We let the children play with as little direction as possible and Kat did a fantastic job of capturing their natural exuberance and individual characters. The beautiful setting of The Secret Garden was the perfect backdrop. They kindly allowed us to rearrange the Glass House as we saw fit and so the stage was set for a delightful afternoon tea and a cake table to die for.

The watch word for this shoot was without a doubt ‘fun’ – not least because it’s tricky to keep 6 under 10’s amused for 6 hours without a large measure of it! Fortunately, all of the contributors rallied together and made it the most enjoyable, albeit the most exhausting day – we all slept well that night. I hope you enjoy looking at the results of all our efforts as much as we did creating them.”
