Lily Allen Marries Sam Cooper

We just wanted to say all the best for tomorrow Lily!

I can’t wait to hear all about the wedding day tomorrow.  If her save the date cards are anything to go by it will be such a fun and unusal wedding to say the least.

Here is her save the date card, a rather comical vintage style that shows her and Sam Cooper’s head superimosed on a black and white photograph of them both sitting on a tractor.

Service: The Service for 100 guests, will held at St James the Great Church in Cranham, Gloucestershire such a beautiful countryside wedding theme.

Reception: Guests will be able to have an afternoon tea with scones and jam, cakes and sandwiches.

Honeymoon: The couple intend to have their honeymoon at The Glastonbury Festival.

“Lily’s coming down for her honeymoon. We’ll look after her – she’ll get well treated,” Festival organiser Michael Eavis told The Sun.

 

 

Lily Allen and Sam Cooper Wedding Details.

As we have seen lately from the Royal Wedding, it was all about the wedding dress, and indeed, Lily Allen’s dress was beautiful and not to disimilar to that of the Duchess of Cambridge. Created by the French designer Delphine Manivet, and following the trend in using lace in the sleeves, a stunning sweetheat neckline and finished off with a long train.

The Wedding Shoes was by Rupert Sanderson, Lily had asked him to create two pairs of shoes for her wedding day, one of them being her white platforms, and a flat pair of shoes.

Flowers: A beautiful bouquet of roses in pastel colours.

Bridal Party: Keith Allen, her father gave Lily away, Miquita Oliver was one of her bridemaids.

The Venue: St James the Great Church in Cranham, near Stroud.

Special Readings: The Owl and the Pussycat by Edward Lear and the lyrics to ‘Have I told you lately by Van Morrison’.

The main celebrities on the guest list included Angus Deayton, Harry Enfeild, and Damien Hirst.
