With dresses for brides who want to make a statement as well as classic gowns and boho styles, Alice Temperley’s Spring 2020 collection is beautiful, varied and elegantly embellished. Mother-of-pearl beading, crystal stone embroidery and swathes of sequins, there really is something for everyone, and it’s all created in such gorgeous, understated detail. I love this collection, and have chosen my 5 Star favourite. You can see the full collection here.
Draped in antique inspired French scallop lace, this one is so pretty, with a silk satin bow at the waist and a lightly fluted skirt. I love the simple elegance of it.
Temperley describes this one as “Whimsical and elegant,” which I think sums it up perfectly! With dotty tulle scattered with sequins and 3D tulle flowers with pearl centres, it’s got some fun details alongside a dramatic open back and sweetheart neckline.
With a 1940s style wide empire waistband and draped bodice, Rosie sparkles with a platinum sequin skirt teamed with sheer sleeves. More sequins glitter from the petals in this stunning fusion of classic and modern.
There is a gorgeous back to this dress, with such pretty detail that wraps around the bodice and down the dress. With hints of pastel pink and dotted with mother-of-pearl beads, the layered tulle catches the light with satin bands and elegant details.
White satin stitched flowers float over pearlescent sequins with yet more mother-of-pearl beads creating the outlines. I love the puffed long sleeves that create the dramatic effect, perfect for a modern bride.
This is such a beautiful collection. Check out the rest of the Temperley London dresses here, and for more designer collections, see our luxury wedding dress pages.
