The DWP Congress returns to Asia this year after having successful annuals in Greece, Dubai, Mexico, Florence, Thailand and Mauritius. The wedding community is excited for the biggest reunion after two years of a long wait and there couldn’t be a better place to reunite the romance travel industry than Bali.

“Bali is not only renowned for being the Island of the Gods, but also the Island of Love! Having done countless weddings in Bali for over 15 years, Bali never ceases to offer more spectacular surprises with each wedding that we do there. Bali to me is one of, if not the most romantic and beautiful places in the world. The Balinese are warm, friendly, spiritual and gracious; the quality and selection of local and international culinary flair are beyond expectation as the Balinese are renowned for their complex spices and affinity with food.

The island also has some of the finest luxury hotel resorts in the world; whether down by the beach, overlooking rice paddy fields or up in the quiet forests of Ubud, Bali offers an array of spectacularly beautiful accommodations, amenities, guest experiences and culinary wonders as well as impeccable personalised service of the highest standard.” Shares top Hong Kong planner Evelyn Mills, Founder of Marriage Maestros.

Bali is regarded as a top romance destination among couples. The innate and raw beauty of this island is captivating in all senses and the presence of luxury hotels and breathtaking experiences are a cherry on top. Mohomed Morani, Founder of Cineyug Group of Companies from India, an industry legend in the Indian special events and entertainment industry shares- “Bali is incredibly attractive for romance travel.

People have been waiting to come back to Bali since it had been shut down for tourism for quite a long time during the pandemic. The hotels and activities available in Bali are very couple friendly, but also attractive for groups. I’m excited to be making my way to Bali for the DWP, and keen to meet other industry stalwarts from all around the world, in such an exotic destination.”

Meltem Tepler, Founder & President of KM Events Turkey and Board of Governors, ILEA Global highlights the importance of the DWP Congress in uniting the industry. She says-

“DWP has done a great job as it created a big network between wedding planners, suppliers and designers in the global wedding industry. It made us a big family. Now I have many friends from all different parts of the world just because of DWP. DWP has also helped our business to grow and become more international. Thank you for all that.”

Jung Lee, wedding planner to the stars and Founder of Fête NY from the USA adds

“I think the role of congress like DWP is what’s needed in moving the industry forward, where else can you gather with 500 luxury destination wedding experts? Our industry was hit hard during 2020 and it’s super important to me to support in-person and keep the industry moving forward.”

“In this new post-covid landscape, it is more important than ever that we all join forces to assure that the romance industry continues to move forward and grow.” Highlights David Beahm, industry veteran and one of the top planners from the USA.

Innayat Khubchandani,

The DWP Gala is inevitably the most-awaited part of the event. This year, we have Innaz Communique from Indonesia as our Gala Dinner Partner. The Founder Innayat Khubchandani, a renowned wedding planner from Indonesia shares what attendees can expect at this year’s Gala session.

“I’m excited that finally, it’s happening in our backyard. We have been waiting to showcase what we can do and am so excited to get the show on the road and really pamper all our guests. I want them to experience INDONESIA. They have to be transported into the past, present and future of our rich culture. Entertainment will play a big factor in this year’s gala. I want it visually to be fireworks in their eyes and not a dull moment in the exciting evening.”

Brimming with new concepts each year, the 8th Annual DWP Congress is all about changing the game and with that, we’d like to introduce “DWP Beyond Infinity” which outlines the 8 facets of the DWP Congress 2022 and what our focus in the next edition is going to revolve around! Hosted in Bali International Convention Center, Westin Nusa Dua, the congress is all set to introduce the destination to top planners from around the world. “Bali is a dream destination for many clients, the island is surrounded by mouth-to-mouth stories that make it a jewel to experience. I have already produced 2 events in Bali, but always on the same side of the Island, now it’s time for me to balance with the other side.” Shares Top Planner from Morocco, Fabrice Orlando, Founder and CEO of global wedding company Cocoon Events with offices worldwide.

Ackash Jain, Director, QnA International, organizers of the DWP Congress comments- “Famous for its pristine beaches, abundant natural sites, rich culture & heritage, lively and colourful ceremonies, and exceptional hospitality, Bali sets the perfect scene for a magical and dreamy destination wedding. With our Official Host Partner The Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy of The Republic of Indonesia, we are thrilled to be welcoming you with open arms to experience the beauty, serenity and hospitality of Bali coupled with the fun, fiesta and warmth of the DWP Congress.”
