Gillian and Stephen, a Scottish couple with a passion for Italy, dreamed of a romantic luxury wedding in Venice. Stefano Lunardi<\/a> is an Italian wedding photographer and was the couple’s perfect choice to capture their memories of the day.<\/p>\n

The youngest of five, Gillian’s brother’s and sisters all chose a traditional Scottish wedding, but Gillian and Stephen chose to take a little piece of Scotland to Venice for their special day. With her family’s tartan adorning her shoes, Gillian was piped down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband, who was dressed in his own family’s tartan with a traditional Scottish kilt. With so much excitement in the air, Stephen and his best man had tried out their own version of a Highland fling earlier in the day, which photographer Stefano had managed to perfectly capture!<\/p>\n

The day was a pure delight from start to finish. The couple chose a dreamy location on the edge of a lagoon to say their vows and then had a moment to themselves as they took a boat ride around the island.<\/p>\n

They continued their celebrations well into the night and then into the next day when they had a second photo shoot in the city, around Piazza S.marco, the old market and the Florian cafe. This is such a good idea, giving you the wedding day celebrating with your guests and then another leisurely day to spend making sure you get all the photos you want.<\/p>\n
