It has a spectacular history, having been owned by a diamond magnate, visited by Sir Winston Churchill and is still a favoured place of the Queen and Prince Philip. Luton Hoo is elegant and grand, with facilities for small weddings as well as large. Four Weddings and a Funeral, Eyes Wide Shut and Vanity Fair, to name but a few, have all been filmed at Luton Hoo and we were lucky enough to find ourselves staying in a suite that had featured in Four Weddings, the Lady Butter room. With floor to ceiling marble and twinkling chandeliers, we needed a relaxed breakfast to take in our beautiful surroundings, watching the estate peacocks meander around the thousand acre
