Maria and Charles wed during December in Sarasota, Florida. Maria wanted a very passionate and fiery wedding to match her personality. With red roses flown in from her home country of Columbia, along with the musicians, the wedding embraced the best of both bride and groom.<\/p>\n

Maria\u2019s dress was a strapless, fitted gown from Pronovias, with mermaid train and full length veil. Her bridesmaids wore striking red lace dresses \u2013 a perfect contrast to the white of Maria\u2019s and a perfect match for Charles\u2019 red suit with black detail, coordinating with the groomsmen.<\/p>\n

Flowers were seasonal, with dark green foliage. Velvet roses, lilies and orchids made up the bouquets and table centrepieces.<\/p>\n

I love how the couple didn\u2019t shy away from embracing the Christmas season, incorporating trees, wreaths and traditional white, red and gold colours in their day \u2013 even their cake was a striking red with dramatic gold monogram.<\/p>\n
