As with all the Alilas, the road leading to the resort is fairly ordinary but this belies what awaits beyond and just like that, you are walking into a design wonderland of wooden cabanas, outdoor art and tranquil water lined walkways, all drawing the eye to the main feature, the Indian Ocean.<\/p>\n

If you are not wowed on arrival at Alila Villas Uluwatu, then I\u2019m sure you never will be. This stunningly beautiful resort is the type of place you aspire to spending your holidays and it would feature in the wildest dreams of wedding couples looking for a special place to get married. The people, the place, the view \u2013 it is all unparalleled.<\/p>\n

The villas at Uluwatu are mini versions of the main resort, each with their own cabana and pool. Modern muted colours play backdrop to tasteful Balinese art and furnishings whilst outside pretty frangipani trees frame the contemporary poolside area. Inside, each villa is equipped with a personal tablet and it is here that you can choose your music, order room service and make any other requests.<\/p>\n

If you did want to venture out then the resort offers a wealth of relaxing activities \u2013 I chose to indulge the spa. It is hard to ignore the spa at Uluwatu, mainly due to the wafts of hypnotic essential oil which linger in the open air walkways leading up to it. I opt for a 90 minute massage\u00a0concentrating on the back – Asia is renowned for good massage and so I am expecting wondrous things from this premium spa. I am not disappointed. The combination of my therapist\u2019s intuitive touch and strong but supple fingers leave me feeling relaxed and knot-free.<\/p>\n

As with all Alila weddings, size is not an issue and so whether you have a small wedding party of ten or gala style party of 200, the team of organisers at Alila Villas Uluwatu will ensure your day is luxurious, stylish and smooth running throughout.<\/p>\n
