Situated in beautiful Belgravia, it\u2019s a few moments to Knightsbridge and just a short walk to Hyde Park.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Hari opened its doors in 2016, having been previously known as Belgraves. An ode to the CEO\u2019s father, there are many personal touches, including the Library bar to mirror his passion for reading and an Italian restaurant as a nod to his love of Italian food.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-11021728\" src=\"https:\/\/5starweddingdirectory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Hotel-Lobby-1.jpg\" alt=\"Hotel Review: The Hari\" width=\"769\" height=\"358\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11021728\" src=\"https:\/\/5starweddingdirectory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Hotel-Lobby-1.jpg\" alt=\"Hotel Review: The Hari\" width=\"769\" height=\"358\" \/><\/noscript>\r\n<figcaption>Hotel Review: The Hari<\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is a gorgeous arty element to The Hari, with beautiful paintings adorning the walls. The hotel supports emerging artists as well, and artists in residence exhibit their work here. A student exhibition is hosted for those who missed out on final exhibitions due to lockdown.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our arrival<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We visited The Hari on a hot summer day, and the greenery and glass fa\u00e7ade was a beautiful welcome. Had it been cooler, we may have been tempted to hop on a Hari bike and explore the area, but we couldn\u2019t wait to enter through the wooden doors and into the cool lobby. The Hari has such a homely feel, it\u2019s so welcoming, and the lobby\u2019s huge chandelier lights a stylish, open space.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-11021730\" src=\"https:\/\/5starweddingdirectory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Lobby-Blue-Sofa.jpg\" alt=\"Hotel Review: The Hari\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11021730\" src=\"https:\/\/5starweddingdirectory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Lobby-Blue-Sofa.jpg\" alt=\"Hotel Review: The Hari\" \/><\/noscript><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Francesca gave us a tour of the hotel before we went to our suite, explaining a little more about the hotel and showing us more of the artwork exhibited there and the hidden terrace and relaxing library bar, full of books and stunning artwork. We knew we were in for a treat with beautiful wooden floors, a mirrored wall, and a glimpse into the bathroom. White marble surrounded the bathroom, with a dark marble floor and a bath right next to a huge picture window overlooking the trees, perfect for a relaxing soak with the divine-smelling Noble Isle luxury British toiletries.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-11021731\" src=\"https:\/\/5starweddingdirectory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Studio-Suite-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Hotel Review: The Hari\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11021731\" src=\"https:\/\/5starweddingdirectory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Studio-Suite-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Hotel Review: The Hari\" \/><\/noscript>\r\n<figcaption>Studio Suite<\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Champagne was already on ice for us, and a chocolate cake just demanded to be tasted. Lighter than air, it was a spectacular welcome. Our daughter enjoyed icing her own biscuit left for her \u2013 a wonderful nod to the artistic element of the hotel to showcase her own artistry!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-11021732\" src=\"https:\/\/5starweddingdirectory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Studio-Suite-Bathroom-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Hotel Review: The Hari\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11021732\" src=\"https:\/\/5starweddingdirectory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Studio-Suite-Bathroom-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Hotel Review: The Hari\" \/><\/noscript>\r\n<figcaption>Studio Suite Bathroom<\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dark grey curtains surrounded the bedroom, hiding a couple of secret nooks that were only exposed when drawing back the curtains. A dark red velvet sofa emerged and a sweet deck with its own window to the outside world. The suite was dark and calm, perfect for relaxing in for a bit before dinner.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eating at The Hari<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hotel\u2019s Italian restaurant is currently only open at the weekend. As we visited during the week, we dined at The Garden Terrace, with food prepared by the same chef, however. The Terrace is beautiful, perfect for a small, intimate wedding reception or a hen retreat.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-11021747\" src=\"https:\/\/5starweddingdirectory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Il-Pampero-5.jpg\" alt=\"Hotel Review: The Hari London\" \/><noscript><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11021747\" src=\"https:\/\/5starweddingdirectory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Il-Pampero-5.jpg\" alt=\"Hotel Review: The Hari London\" \/><\/noscript>\r\n<figcaption>Il-Pampero<\/figcaption>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The roof can be retracted and open to the sun or closed in colder months. We had the whole place to ourselves, enjoying some cocktails to begin our evening. We enjoyed some mixed Asian snacks to start; katsu prawns, dumplings, chicken yakitori, and spring rolls before my salmon teriyaki with pickled fennel, which was just delicious. A stunning cheesecake finished the meal perfectly, and a cute bulldog joined us in a yellow dress which came to say hello! Animals are welcome at The Hari, and it was so fun to meet this little friend!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Turndown at The Hari<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the curtains closed, the room felt cosy and welcoming, and we slept wonderfully on silken sheets and exquisite pillows.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Breakfast at The Hari<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Breakfast was served in Il Pampero, the Italian restaurant. Il Pampero is the owner\u2019s favourite racehorse, and leather bridles and equestrian equipment adorn the walls, and black and white designed tiles decorate the floor. It\u2019s a gorgeous restaurant, and we were so pleased to get a chance to see it, although we\u2019ll have to go back to sample the menu! Embodying their homely atmosphere, The Hari provide a small, private space for wedding receptions for 25 people. The Hari Garden Terrace is modern and stylish, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. The Hari will create a bespoke package for you, with a five-star drinks reception and wedding breakfast, flowers, beautiful cake created by their pastry chef, and luxury accommodation for you and your guests.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Hari was welcoming, homely and super stylish. The service was excellent, and the food was incredible.
