The Royal Wedding of the decade and perhaps indeed, the century, has just been announced and we are all desperate to find out what Kate will be wearing on the big day and how the couple will choose to stamp their personal style on the whole affair. Hot off the press, 5 Star Weddings\u00a0spoke to top UK wedding planner, Mark Niemierko,to find out exactly what he anticipates William and Kate’s wedding to be like….<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mark Niemierko:<\/strong> I\u2019d love her to wear something fitting, yet with a bit of a kick in the skirt\u2026 she\u2019s a fab figure and it needs to be shown off. For sure it\u2019ll be elegant and timeless, yet with a modern fashion twist. She\u2019s a fashion savvy lady. I\u2019d love to see her in a British Designers dress such as Bruce Oldfield, Jasper Conran or Jenny Packham.<\/p>\n

5 Star Weddings:<\/strong> What style of wedding do you anticipate in terms of flowers, cake, bridesmaids etc?<\/p>\n

Mark Niemierko:<\/strong> The ceremony will be the main event and I\u2019m sure we\u2019ll see the venue, Westminster Abbey perhaps, decked out in flowers. I\u2019d imagine as it\u2019s a summer wedding they\u2019ll choose rather traditional colours of whites and greens but perhaps a hint of blush pink!<\/p>\n

5 Star Weddings:<\/strong> Will this be a typically royal wedding like William’s parents?<\/p>\n

Mark Niemierko:<\/strong> It\u2019s the wedding of the Future King of England. There\u2019s no doubt it\u2019ll be a big state affair, if not an international event with people watching in their millions. I think there will be all the tradition of the pomp and ceremony you\u2019d imagine, but there will be modern touches which showcase Kate and William\u2019s personalities.<\/p>\n

5 Star Weddings:<\/strong> What designers do you anticpate the wedding party to use? ie Kate’s mum and sister?<\/p>\n

Mark Niemierko:<\/strong> I\u2019d love to see Stewart Parvin dress Kate\u2019s mum. He designs for the Queen.<\/p>\n

5 Star Weddings:<\/strong> Where do you think Kate and William will take their honeymoon?<\/p>\n

Mark Niemierko:<\/strong> I\u2019d imagine a safari will be out of the question as they got engaged in Kenya. Perhaps another commonwealth country such as Australia for some sun after what I\u2019m sure will be rather intense wedding planning.<\/p>\n

Other comments. Would love to see Prince Harry as best man.<\/p>\n
