This past week 5 Star Wedding Directory received a lovely invitation to attend the intimate and stylish Portal Restaurant & Bar on St John Street in Farringdon. The Portuguese restaurant teamed up with outstanding millinery expert Katherine Elizabeth <\/a>to host \u201cThe Boutique Bridal Bazaar.\u201d The evening provided brides-to-be with an excellent opportunity to meet a hand-picked selection of noted and exceptional wedding suppliers from around London in a welcoming & friendly atmosphere over delicious canap\u00e9s and Joseph Perrier champagne.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bordello is a luxurious bespoke lingerie \u2018and all things boudoirs Que\u2019 boutique, they have a small collection of cherry-picked designers each with their own specific styles and ranges.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Renowned for their beautiful array of alluring vintage lingerie pieces designed and revamped with a modern boudoir style, we were captivated by the designs. From the luxurious underwear, body sculpting seamless undergarments, stunning & chic bridal headwear to the glamorous and very popular burlesque corsets, we could see why they were so popular.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the evening continued we later discovered and spoke to the BellViso team, this is for the bride that wants to achieve flawless skin on her wedding day. Our superb conclusion to the evening had us speak to the award-winning millinery designer Katherine Elizabeth. She showcased a ravishing collection of classic, vintage and beautiful headpieces perfect for the bride, mother of the bride or the wedding guest.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Each hat is a custom-made to elegantly compliment the gown, hair and shape of the face. The seamless and clean designs have been noted and commissioned by John Galliano whilst clients include the beautiful Dita Von Teese. Katherine\u2019s outstanding work can be found online and more intimately at her studio in St. Johns Square. She also provides millinery parties\/classes which have proven very popular with brides as an alternative way to celebrate a bridal party with friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

We had a fantastic evening meeting and learning from some of the excellent bespoke luxury wedding suppliers in a beautiful event space tasting some delectable foods and listening to some wonderful live music.\u00a0 A great start to the week. <\/span><\/p>\n
