From their first date Megan knew Chad was something special, and three years and a truly romantic Laguna Beach proposal later, they were married in Megan\u2019s home city of Chicago.<\/p>\n

The bride chose the softest Vera Wang A-line wedding gown with lace overlay and sweet tulle straps. A simple twisted up-do and a long veil finished the look, along with a beautiful Cartier bangle from her husband-to-be. Pretty papercut stationery adorned with crystals gave a little hint of the sparkling day ahead, matching the lacework and crystals on Megan\u2019s dress. Papercut stationery is so pretty and a perfect way to add detail and interest to your invites as well as introducing a subtle colour theme if you wish.<\/p>\n

Pink was the colour of the day, and Megan\u2019s bridesmaids shone in bright fuschia skirts, with a paler top \u2013 such a good idea for breaking up a bright colour \u2013 the \u2018maids really stood out with their sparkling waistbands offering some wedding glamour. The groom brushed up well in a slick tux and Louis Vuitton shoes, with groomsmen matching in black.<\/p>\n

The couple went all-out with flowers, making them the theme of their wedding. Flowers were pretty in pink and white, and the couple chose a huge, gorgeous floral wall to provide a backdrop for their wedding day. I love a dramatic floral display, and a floral wall gives a really beautiful, fragrant centrepiece that personalises the celebration as well as giving a great background for your photos! Megan and Chad included another, smaller floral wall, a floral picture frame for candid snaps, big and small table centrepieces and of course, the fresh and fluffy bouquets themselves; Megan\u2019s a slightly larger version of her bridesmaids\u2019. Roses, orchids and hydrangea came together to create beautiful displays, as well as adorning the wedding cake which was filled with colourful rainbow funfetti!<\/p>\n
