It’s not every day that one gets a personal invitation to experience an international wedding show abroad, so we were really excited to have been invited to a Spanish wedding show at the five-star Iberostar Son Antem luxury hotel<\/strong> on the magical island of Majorca.<\/p>\n

The Hotel<\/strong> IBEROSTAR Son Antem hotel was the first 5 star hotel on the island, raising the total of Majorcan hotels to 14 hotels offering couples and families a variety of services.<\/p>\n

Situated in Llucmajor on the south of the island, the five-star resort is in an attractive rural setting just a few kilometers from the cultural capital of Palma, the airport and the best beaches on the island.<\/p>\n

The El Olivar de Mallorca restaurant will delight you, it’s a full buffet with views over the terrace and gardens. If you are looking for a gourmet, La Vista Verde restaurant, in the golf club headquarters, offers a wide variety of dishes in a relaxing environment.<\/p>\n

Something just a bit different from the UK wedding shows:<\/em><\/p>\n

The wedding show started at 4 p.m. till 9 p.m. due to the Spanish culture, in that the Spanish enjoy the cooler evening to shop and to browse after their siesta and it just seemed to work really well…may be it was because the evening weather was so warm. With light music drifting in the background the atmosphere was so chilled, I could image just how lovely it would be to hold a wedding in such a beautiful location.<\/p>\n

The Iberostar Hotel Majorca has marriage license to hold outside weddings as well as weddings inside.<\/p>\n

What I loved about the show is that it was held outside in the stunning gardens, with an array of suppliers, quality photographers, wedding dress designers and the Iberostar catering was wonderful.<\/p>\n

There was a large number of couples milling around and being shown around the complex by the wedding specialist team. The exhibitors where all preferred suppliers to the hotel, so the quality is tried and tested.<\/p>\n

The hotel offers a wide variety of facilities to keep everyone entertained. Guests can unwind by the swimming pool or venture to the spa which features a sauna, gym, hairdresser and a beauty salon. For those who enjoy sport, there are facilities for tennis or volleyball and not forgetting the two top class 18 hole golf courses where you can practice your swing.<\/p>\n
