Brides, grooms and planners and myself enjoyed an afternoon of wedding inspiration at Banqueting House, Whitehall on last week. The opulent surroundings of the Banqueting House<\/strong> were on show for the first time to prospective couples interested in finding that special somewhere for their big day.<\/p>\n

Historic Royal Palaces\u2019<\/strong> dedicated events team were on hand to offer guidance whilst leading suppliers showcased their latest offerings beneath the beautiful Rubens ceiling in the Main Hall.<\/p>\n

Blue Strawberry<\/strong> offered complimentary cocktails and afternoon-tea themed canap\u00e9s and Pinstripes and Peonies<\/strong> brought an array of floral options from traditional cream and pink posies to vibrant flower displays, showcasing a wedding style to suit every couple both also collaborated with stationery company Swoon at the Moon<\/strong> to create two inspiration tables set for a wedding breakfast. Lights and sound were provided by White Light<\/strong> while DJ Ashley from Prelude Entertainment<\/strong> provided music from the throne.<\/p>\n

Caterers Alison Price<\/strong> and Zafferano<\/strong> exhibited their current wedding menus. Lavender Green<\/strong> had a bouquet bar allowing brides to find the perfect bouquet style and size. Hayford and Rhodes<\/strong> decorated their stand with flower towers for impact. Elizabeth Cake Emporium\u2019s<\/strong> ornate wedding cakes complimented the grandeur of Banqueting House.<\/p>\n

Cloud 9 marshmallows<\/strong> and Artisan du Chocolat<\/strong> offered delicious favour ideas for guests to take home. The 5 star hotel Corinthia<\/strong> events team showcased their bridal offers, including afternoon tea for the bride and bridesmaids, pre-wedding beauty treatments and even a honeymoon suite for the wedding night.<\/p>\n

Neighboring SixtyOne Whitehall<\/strong>, offered tours of their venue and a photo booth by Blue Steel<\/strong> offered Instagram style filter wedding photography. Capturing the events of the fair were wedding film makers Purple Ribbon Weddings<\/strong> and event and wedding photographer Holly Clarke.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Undercroft was transformed into a pop up bridal boutique and blow dry bar. Brides could try on designer bridal gowns by Sassi Holford<\/strong> with shoes and accessories by Emmy. Blow ltd<\/strong> offered bridal hair and makeup trials.<\/p>\n

A string quartet from Prelude Entertainment<\/strong> played in the background whilst guests relaxed on regal furniture provided by Great Hire<\/strong>. The finale to the day was the Sassi Holford<\/strong> fashion show, showcasing 15 dresses from the current collection.<\/p>\n
