Peppered throughout the gorgeous and historical photography, were Burnand\u2019s little pearls of wisdom for optimising your own wedding photography. From poses to props, we loved all of Hugo\u2019s advice and took some snaps to bring them to you. All the captions are pictured below, but here are a few of our favourites:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Stand By Your Man \u2013<\/strong> Your groom shouldn\u2019t look like an \u2018extra\u2019. Be sure to dedicate shots to you both.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>You Can\u2019t Fake Real Love!<\/strong> \u2026 Don\u2019t be afraid to be yourselves in front of a photographer.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Make Your Own Tradition \u2013<\/strong> \u2026 Ask your grandmother or mother: \u201cIs there something that we can do on our big day that you did at your own wedding?\u201d Be creative!<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>You Don\u2019t Need A Face In Every Shot \u2013<\/strong> \u2026 you\u2019ve paid for beautiful flowers, so feature it!<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Know When To Look At The Camera (and when not to) \u2013<\/strong> If it\u2019s all \u2018eyes to the camera\u2019, then you feel unable to look at anything else.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Use Your Assets \u2013<\/strong> If there is stunning architecture or beautiful, natural light available, use it!<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Include a Few In-Car Shots \u2013<\/strong> \u2026 the lighting is always interesting because it comes in from two sides. Plus it\u2019s a very happy moment!<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Veils Can Create Fantastic Pictures \u2013<\/strong> \u2026especially when they go wrong! If the wind catches them, it creates a unique, theatrical picture. Let nature come into the image.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Move, Move, Move \u2013<\/strong> Not only does movement bring shots to life but it brings you to life!
