Alaïa – Laser-cut leather slides

Tunisian couturier Azzedine Alaïa used intricate leatherwork to celebrate his North African childhood and love of ancient culture – his laser-cut designs are still a signature of the brand today. Made in Italy from supple black leather, these slides are decorated with openwork motifs that recall the mashrabiya found in architecture across the Islamic world.
