Lindy is well known and highly respected in the cake decorating industry, having over 25 years of sugarcraft experience. She is passionate about her craft and an expert at interpreting ideas and turning them into reality - the more challenging and unusual the better! She advises;

When creating her cakes, Lindy is committed to using the finest quality ingredients, exquisite craftsmanship and minute attention to detail, she prides herself in her ability to realise her clients’ dreams and to deliver above expectations. She offers a personal and professional service, from the initial concept and design stage right up to delivery.

Lindy's has fifteen published cake decorating books, including her best-selling title 'The Contemporary Cake Decorating Bible' which is now available in at least seven languages and has helped redefine the art of cake decorating around the globe. Lindy's books have firmly established her as a true sugarcraft innovator and authority on modern cake design. Her book 'Creative Colour for Cake Decorating' won the International Gourmand Cookbook Award title "Best Pastry Sweets Book in the UK 2014". Lindy's latest book ‘Simply Modern Wedding Cakes’ published in March 2016 is aimed at brides who wish to undertake the challenge of making their own cakes as well as cake decorators who are looking for new and exciting inspiration.

Lindy's work is frequently featured in both wedding and cake decorating magazines. She is often found on stage demonstrating at the major cake decorating shows and occasionally appears on TV, most recently on Create and Craft TV where she has been sharing her passion for sugarcraft and demonstrating her love of design and colour.

Lindy's Cakes Ltd is now based in the beautiful South Shropshire Hills but Lindy's bespoke wedding cakes go far and wide.
