Marisa Vitali, founder of Sugarcups Cake Design in Tuscany, started her artistic path as a trained classical musician.  Her biggest accomplishment was her career as an opera singer which led her to perform on some of the most important stages in the world.

Having always had a passion for baking, she discovered the magical world of cake design. What started off as a hobby for family and friends has become an established business, bringing happiness and memories to couples on one of the most important days of their lives.

Marisa dedicates herself personally to each creation, down to the smallest of details. Her idea of a "boutique" production of exclusive cakes are enthralling people from all over the world who choose to tie the knot under the Tuscan sun.

The "Cutting of the cake" is one of the oldest wedding traditions, and symbolizes the first gesture that newly weds do together. This magical moment is awaited upon with joy and anticipation, and for this reason ,it is one of the most unforgettable and photographed moments of the entire wedding.
