DS Studiofotografico born ten years ago from my idea, Simone D’Amico, to tell stories, stories from my land, Sicily.

My love for street photography and my job as wedding photographer, has brought me to the dimension of the real wedding. The connection with my roots instead carry me towards an intimate and passionate relationship with my wedding stories, with my story to tell.

Since I was a child, I was always been attract from the unconventional, I was been different from each other. This way to be grew up with my passion for photography and now I try, to tell my stories from another poin of view. I need to fall in love with people, to made my best, and when it happen all around us disappear. Another part of me instead is very tidy and devoted to work, I’m extremely careful about details and about the wishes of my clients. My photographic creativity is inspired by my passion for art films, painting and music.

My dream is, as wedding photographer, to bring in Sicily, the destination wedding and to give the opportunity to discover and appreciate Sicily and its marvelous places. Nowadays destination wedding in Sicily is not well-known, but I’m sure Sicily has the credentials to satisfy even the most demanding couples. According to me destination wedding in Sicily means give it the opportunity to open the door of its beauty who see it like a too far destination.

My photographic wedding style is fresh and new, style that I express through the colours and minimal impact of my photos. I don’t like to impose people how to behave, so I like to be within the story without influence it.

The wedding, like I love to tell, is a full exciting tale of a day setting by the chaotic sequence of moments, from the anxiety of the preparation to the moment after "yes".Real moments, which don't need to be altered by the photographers intrusion who, according to me, must be accurate and careful. DS Studiofotografico, both his photos and his video productions, commit to the real wedding philosophy. The wedding don't be filtered through the photographer character, it can't be the same of other thousand weddings.

His photos can't be only perfect, but have to testify to the beauty of an unique event. Without the testament of photographer, memories doesn’t exist. Usually we work in team of four, two photographers and two videographers, to give always a different point of view. We deliver high resolution photos, album and HD video.
