Nestled in the hills of Prosecco, between Venice and the Dolomites, CastelBrando is one of the biggest and most ancient castles in Europe.
Welcoming at CastelBrando is a century old tradition. In over two thousand years, many people and celebrities from all over the world stayed as guests at the castle, from Charlemagne to Giotto, Casanova and Queen Caterina Cornaro, just to name a few. To live in one of the 80 rooms of the castle, now as well as it was in past times, is a unique experience.
All this is due to the beautiful natural setting of its surrounding Venetian hills, with the Dolomite Ranges in the distance, history at the touch of your hand that you can feel and experience in each room. Times change but this place and its magic never let you down.
Strolling along the eighteenth-century wing of the castle, you bump into the graceful Ristorante Sansovino: a precious and original place where to enjoy a sophisticated cuisine without forgetting traditional dishes and where to savour delicious local ingredients in season, immersed in charming Venetian rooms.
For the wellbeing of body and soul, Principessa Gaia SPA offers highly professional body treatments: relaxing massages, tepidarium, solarium, Scottish shower and Vichy shower treatments are just some of the services to choose from in the Spa baths. A small frescoed baroque church, in the heart of the castle, is available for celebrations. An idyllic place surrounded by nature, where history and elegance meet together: CastelBrando is the perfect location to celebrate your fairytale wedding.

Lovely place with breathtaking views from the large rooftop terrace, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The food was gorgeous and the service was impeccable, it was a wonderful day! Thank you especially to Mr. Pazzi and Brunella, who took care of everything in the smallest detail, giving us an unforgettable day.
We attended a reception at this beautiful castle. The atmosphere is princely and the frescoed rooms have a retro taste, but not old. Dinner was served buffet and the portions were remarkable, especially polenta and stuffed cod and lasagna with radicchio. The place is definitely worth a visit, also because the view that you can enjoy from the castle is truly impressive.
