Fowey Hall

About

Cornwall is one of the most magical places to be married at any time of the year with its dramatic coastline and beautiful beaches.

Whether you plan for a summer wedding with Pimm's on the croquet lawn or a romantic winter getaway by the roaring log fires-Fowey Hall provides the perfect backdrop for your special day whatever the weather.

Built in 1899 by a former Lord Mayor of London, Sir Charles Hanson, Fowey Hall is a magnificent mansion, believed to be the inspiration behind Toad Hall in 'Wind in the Willows' by Kenneth Grahame. It sits within its original walled gardens in five acres of grounds and enjoys stunning views over the River Fowey and spectacular sea views.

Immerse yourself in this commanding Queen Anne Chateau inspired mansion with rich architectural detailing, Baroque plasterwork, vaulted ceilings, exotically wood panelled public rooms and elaborate marble fireplaces but we feel the greatest asset, is the warmth and friendliness within.

The quaint town of Fowey and the local sandy cove at Ready money are both only a short walk from the hotel- the photographer will be spoilt for choice!

If your plans are for a small intimate civil wedding or a large house party exclusively for your guests, Fowey Hall is the perfect venue to celebrate your marriage.
