I often get asked how to choose the variety of diamond for your ring. Well after looking at the luxury brand Cartier they give some great advise on their web site.
The Four C’s.
These are known as the four Cs and are the most widely recognised criteria for assessing a diamonds quality.
The carat, that is the weight, is only one of the factors that determine a stones value.
For example, two diamonds with the same number of carats will have significantly different values if their colour, clarity and cut are not the same.
