Welcome to Lina + Tom Photography
Lina + Tom are a husband-and-wife wedding photography team based in Hertfordshire, not far from London, who have photographed weddings together since 2009 across the UK, Italy and destinations worldwide, from Yorkshire and Lake Iseo to Marrakech and the South of France. Their style blends documentary and editorial photography, and they always work as two, with neither of them the lead, from the morning preparations to the last song on the dancefloor.
Lina and Tom met in 2007, when Lina was directing and producing theatre in London and Tom was working as a graphic designer and commercial photographer. They began photographing weddings together in 2009, became engaged under the northern lights in Iceland in 2014 and married later that year. Home is a countryside cottage in Hertfordshire, not far from London, and with Lina an Italian national, Italy is their second home.

They describe themselves as an exclusive partnership: every wedding is photographed by the two of them, and neither one is the lead or the second shooter. They do not send associates in their place. For very large weddings, or ones with complicated logistics, they bring trusted associates, but the day is always led by them.
Their approach mixes documentary and editorial photography rather than following trends. Most of the day is unposed: the getting ready, the grandmother with her champagne, the speeches and a dancefloor they are known for staying on until the end. Family groups are done quickly and informally.

Send your date and plans through the contact form. They take a limited number of weddings each year and cannot hold dates without a...

First conversation
A call, or a drink if you are near Hertfordshire or London, to talk through the wedding before anything is booked.

Booking
A booking fee secures the date. The balance follows in one or two payments, the last around six weeks before the wedding.

Pre-wedding shoot
An engagement or pre-wedding shoot can be arranged; they have photographed them from Amsterdam to San Francisco.
