Ceremonies in the Post room and outdoors

A contemporary English oak barn near Newbury, with floor-to-ceiling glass over the gardens, roaring open fires and a neighbouring four-star hotel for overnight stays

The barn has space for up to 150 guests at a ceremony, either inside the Post room or outdoors, overlooking the Berkshire countryside. Outdoors, couples can marry under the arch by the main lawn or under the pavilion on the green, weather permitting. For multi faith weddings, the upper or lower lawn can be used, with or without a stretch marquee, and extra guests can be added on the gallery inside. The Twilight Weddings package sets 4.30pm as the earliest ceremony time.

Receptions

Receptions in the Post room

The Post room is the primary internal space for receptions as well as ceremonies. The barn seats the sit-down wedding breakfast and hosts up to 220 guests for an evening reception, with the same number for a standing reception. The gallery can take extra reception guests. The Twilight Weddings package runs to a set timeline from arrival through to the last dance, which cannot be altered, and the New Year's Eve package includes a late licence and a glass of...

The latest finish is midnight. There is no noise limiter; volume is at the discretion of the Duty Manager on the night, within premises licence restrictions. The New Year's Eve package includes a late licence.
