Haymarket Hotel occupies a Regency building by John Nash, tucked just off Haymarket where Theatreland meets the rest of the West End. Inside, Kit Kemp has layered bold colour, pattern and contemporary art, so a stately shell holds a lively, glamorous interior rather than a restrained one.
Vows beneath de Gournay paintwork
Civil ceremonies are held in the Shooting Gallery, a room hand-painted by de Gournay and licensed for up to 115 guests. The same room serves for long dinners afterwards, set along a table of flowers and candles against the painted walls.
