Welcome

Marrying on site

An independent five-star hotel in a 1905 Edwardian building in Covent Garden, where the ceremony, reception and evening celebration all happen under one roof.

Couples can say their vows on site at One Aldwych. The events team uses each of the private event spaces and suites to find the right fit, and couples are encouraged to talk through licensed dates and the room that suits them best. The ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening celebration can all take place in the hotel, with guests moving easily from one space to the next.

Receptions

Downstairs at One and Press & Type

Downstairs at One has its own private entrance, and a grand copper staircase leads guests into a bar and welcome area. The space is spread over two floors: the upper floor is a fully stocked bar, and below it a large, open plan main floor is set for dinner or a party and can be arranged flexibly. The lower-ground room takes 60 seated or 120 standing.
