Sopwell House is a five-star Georgian country house hotel in St Albans, with the St Alban Suite and the Mountbatten for wedding breakfasts, a gazebo and walled garden for outdoor ceremonies, and a spa on site.

Sopwell House is a family-run Georgian country house hotel set in 12 acres of countryside close to St Albans. The house has a recorded history stretching back to the seventeenth century and became a hotel after the Second World War.

Two suites for the wedding day

The St Alban Suite is a column-free room with French doors onto a terrace, seating up to 300 for dinner, and the Mountbatten seats up to 80 beside its own terrace. Princess Victoria and Prince Louis, and Lady Patricia and Princess Alice, are smaller rooms for receptions and private dining.
