The estate stands on high grounds offering exceptional views over Bordeaux and its region. With views of the Garonne Valley and its river, the West Terrace is the perfect place to sip your cocktail against the backdrop of the setting sun and the majestic view of the Lebanese Cedar, which dominates the park.

Typical to this region, the superbly restored outbuildings of the 18th century Château house an impressive 190 m2 reception room, showcasing its beautiful traditional Bordeaux stone walls, adorned with antique mirrors and tassel chandeliers that shimmer from above as you celebrate your wedding with up to 160 guests.

The beautiful original Orangery can host an intimate dinner, amongst family and friends, the evening before your wedding and is the ideal place to cater for the children during the reception. Two large beautiful courtyards are ideal for brunch or the ceremony in the event of unexpected weather.

For the couple and their guests, we can accommodate up to 43 on the grounds in one of our five elegantly and uniquely styled suites and three guesthouses equipped with their own kitchen and dining facilities. All accommodation is fully air-conditioned.

On-site leisure activities include a heated pool, a tennis and basketball court, and a children’s playground complete with a trampoline. We also have an indoor gym, and for those that wish to relax and unwind, there is a sauna and steam room, or why not try one of the treatments available by one of our therapists in the Thémae spa? For the bride, we offer the preparation of hair and make-up by one of our professionals.

We offer tailor-made packages for Destination Weddings for an exclusive 3-night stay on the estate. Many options are already included in your quote to make the organisation of your wedding easier. A team member will be present as a coordinator throughout your wedding to help with your day.

If you would prefer to celebrate your wedding in the autumn or winter months, Chateau Gassies offers packages for a 2-night stay. The Orangery courtyard is adapted for the cooler weather and furnished with heaters keeping you warm during your cocktail hour, and as the evening draws cooler, your wedding party can celebrate in the warmth of the large and welcoming reception room.

Chateau Gassies does not provide an in-house catering service. However, you will find a list of vendors on our website to help prepare your big day. For trust and quality of services, we ask that the caterer and the DJ be chosen from our list. Be assured that from the caterers to the flowers, at Chateau Gassies, we pride ourselves on excellence and work only with the best of the best. 

Château Gassies has partnered with Château Rauzan-Gassies and Château Pascot to offer you a selection of beautiful Red wine and Champagne. We will be happy to take care of the order, and if at the end of your wedding, there are any bottles unopened, we will be happy to reimburse you.

There is no corkage fee charged if you wish to bring your own drinks.
