Hannah founded Conifer Events in 2018. After several years of experience within the industry, she took the plunge and left her job to follow her dream. Creative, passionate and with an exceptional eye for detail, Hannah loves nothing more than designing and delivering world-class weddings and events.
Having worked at some of the most exquisite venues, hotels, and castles, she will expertly guide you through the design process, ensuring your dream wedding becomes a reality. Hannah and her team have planned extraordinary elopements, collaborated with celebrities, and delivered weddings from 2 to 300 guests in the most beautiful locations. Amazing!
Hannah was an amazing wedding planner. From the start working with conifer events just felt right.
Hannah was very prompt with zoom calls and emails and kept the whole planning process very stress free.
When it got closer to the day Hannah was on top of everything and helped us so many details from overseas. She is very detail oriented and patient and was
such a trooper for having to set up in the rain for us!
I loved working with her and was sad when our chats and planning had to come to an end!

* How far in advance should we confirm our venue/s?
We would recommend you confirm your venue 12-18 months before your wedding, especially if you're looking for a peak season wedding. Venues tend to get booked up quickly for weekend/summer dates.
If you're looking for an off peak date you will have more luck with availability.
* How many weddings do you take on each season?
At Conifer Events we only take on a small number of weddings each year. Usually between 12-16. This is becasue we want to ensure a high quality standard of service.
We understand that your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and we strive to deliver excellence.
* What exactly does a wedding planner do for us?
A Wedding Planner is your best friend!
We will get to know you as a couple, your quirks, your favourite foods, your hobbies. As a dear friend of mine puts it.... if you wear pink socks on Tuesday's we'll know about it!
We work alongside you for the duration of your planning journey, which is often over a year. We assist with everything from venue siurcing/selection, supplier sourcing, budget and timeline management, on-the-day coordination and more!
Ultimately we will create and deliver a day/s that is a true reflection of you as a couple, an experience you and your guests will speak about for years to come.
* Are you available for meetings at the weekend or evenings?
Yes, we are very flexible. We are very well versed at planning with couples from multiple time zones which means we are very accommodating.
* How do you charge for your service?
We have a minimum fee which applies. But as a general rule we charge approximately 10-12% of your wedding budget - this is because usually the more involved the wedding is, the more hours we put into planning it.
* How many planning trips would you recommend for an overseas destination wedding?
One to Two, one of the perks of working with us as your Destination Planner is that we are here to navigate the venue & supplier visits on your behalf. You can relax knowing that we're here to ensure your venue & suppliers are the right ones for you, and up to the highest posible standards.
Some couples are comfortable with not conducting a planning visit at all - leaving it to us to negotiate for them.
* Do we have to use your suppliers?
No, but we always highly recommend the suppliers we know and trust. We have worled alongside them for years and can guarantee quality.
* Why should I choose you?
A Conifer Wedding is truly unique. We are a small team who are very passionate about what we do.
We create and deliver exquisite weddings for our couples, making each experience unique.
* Do you have a list of wedding suppliers to recommend me?
Yes, we have a black book of suppliers who we have worked with for years. We know and trust these suppliers to provide excellent service and quality.
* How many team members will you have working at our wedding?
This depends on the size of the wedding, and how involved it is.
You will always have at least 2 of us, usually 3. However, if we have a big wedding over a number of days we will bring in some additional planners to support. We know and work with many other planners across the industry.

How early should we engage with a Wedding Planner?
We recommend engaging with a wedding planner as soon as you start thinking about your wedding plans. We prefer to start working with our couples as early as possible which allows time to ensure we can book your preferred venue and suppliers, especially in busy peak wedding season.
Why do I need a Wedding Planner?
Working with your wedding planner not only takes away a bundle of stress but also working with an industry expert can help you in designing your wedding and ensuring your wedding is everything you want and more. Planning a wedding is the biggest event you may ever plan, and you want to make no mistakes.
Will you be there on the day?
Of course! Your wedding planner will be there on the day, usually from around mid-morning until the last thing in the evening. The best part of the planning process is seeing everything come together. It's magical. On-the-day coordination is included in our full planning service.
Is there a time limit to our planning journey?
There is no time limit as such on our planning journey. The only time limit we are working to is your wedding date. If we are looking to secure a wedding date and venue during peak wedding season and perhaps over a weekend, we may be required to work quicker to ensure we can secure your desired date and venue.
Do you offer partial planning?
However, we only take these on with a six-month minimum lead time. This is because we need to ensure sufficient time to liaise with your existing vendors and book additional vendors who are right for you!
Do you plan multicultural Weddings?
Yes! We have planned South Indian weddings and worked with many Asian couples to deliver their dream. We have experience with Jewish weddings, including traditions from the Filipino culture, into a couple's special day. We have also worked with couples to create a fusion wedding, incorporating traditions from two cultures into their wedding celebrations.
