The history of the land can be traced back to the time of the Roman occupation of Britain. Previously known as ‘Heckfield Park’ until 1819, the present building is of Queen Anne and Georgian periods and boasts past visitors such as Neville Chamberlain, King George III and Muhammad Ali. These days Highfield Park offers much more than fairy-tale beauty and historic grandeur.
