This magnificent estate boasts 3500 acres of land, including farms, woodland and three miles of foreshore. Surrounded by pretty garden terraces and sprawling lawns, Powderham is a 600-year-old castle brimming with history and available for exclusive use on your wedding day.
Powderham is licensed for civil ceremonies and blessings in the chapel and has a wide range of warm and welcoming rooms for your reception. The Rose Garden Terrace is perfect for summer champagne receptions, whilst The Dining Room or The Music room offers splendidly decorated spaces for a wedding in the colder months.
Couples can also marry in several locations on the estate, including the 18th-century Pavilion in the enchanting Woodland Garden, the White Drawing Room and the Staircase Hall.
