The Best Day of Our lIves..
Where should we start? We live in New York, but come from Southern Italy and Wisconsin. We rented out the Petrata Castle for the weekend and friends and family from all places came to meet in the hills near Assisi. No matter where one came from, the Castle was amazing for everyone. No photos can capture how beautiful the gardens are. They are huge, but every little corner looks like it's a tiny tiny garden that's given specific care. If you want a beautiful place to hold the wedding reception, it will be very difficult to find something better. But what is even better than the position is the staff. Giovanni and his family love to host weddings. They will go out of their way to make sure the couple and their guests are satisfied. You can see their satisfaction when they are able to help. They called our musician to make sure everything was in order, printed directions to help our guests reach the church. . They were very generous and fair at prices, and completely open, honest, and on every detail. We thank them with with our hearts for providing us with the most beautiful and unforgettable day of our life. We are already planning to return to the Petrata Castle next summer for our first anniversary, so we can enjoy everything we were too busy doing during the weekend after our wedding.
